Hosta Garden

The Hosta Garden is a delightful arced path located at the northern end of the Arboretum and culminating at the grape arbor. Visitors will enjoy strolling this unexpected refuge shaded by a canopy of mature white pines and bordered by voluminous, variegated hostas. Their green, blue, yellow, striped, and mottled leaves fan outward like flounced skirts, ranging from one to fifteen inches wide and long. All hostas were donated by Judy Dembsey in memory of her mother; she also designed the Hosta Garden in collaboration with Mabel Herweg.
