The Arboretum is a town-owned, public conservation land with no onsite staff. All gardens an orchards are maintained by volunteers.

The parking lot is periodically patrolled by local law enforcement. Call 911 in an emergency.

Please prevent your dogs from harassing others and target-urinating on specimen trees, plants, and structures. Dog owners not in compliance will be asked to leave and may be reported. Please keep eyes on your dogs at all times when they are off-leash. Dogs not under effective voice control must be leashed. You must pick up after your dog. Please keep dogs out of the gardens—be considerate and respectful to those who work hard to maintain the Arboretum for your enjoyment.

There are no shelters, flush toilets, electricity, or lighting available. Visitors are asked to refrain from pitching tents or bringing extensive equipment.
