Gardens
& other Natural Features
Each garden and collection in the Arboretum fulfills a unique purpose. The Butterfly Garden was designed to entice butterflies and other insects to feed on nectar, pollinating flowers, herbs, and other plants in the process. The Wildflower Garden is a meandering path through the woods flanked by native plant species such as trilliums and wood poppies. Visitors are invited to delight in the beauty of these gardens, as well as appreciate their horticultural and ecological significance. Click the images below for information on individual gardens.
